Emily Greenleaf , MFT - Intern
Are you feeling stuck, uncertain, or alone in your struggle? Your unique experiences and challenges are all valid! Perhaps you haven’t had the time or space to deeply explore your thoughts, feelings, and sources of stress. Considering counseling is a big step toward gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and an empowered approach to effectively meeting and navigating life’s challenges.
I bring a person-centered approach and a trauma-informed lens to counseling, honoring your unique strengths and experiences.
My areas of specialization include anxiety, eating disorders, relational work, and trauma. Using CBT, ACT, and DBT techniques, blended with attachment theory, I will assist you in exploring meaning, enhancing existing strengths, and developing effective coping strategies that empower you to flourish.

Are you seeking meaningful change in your life or relationships and looking for support along the way? Whether you’re navigating challenges as an individual or as part of a couple, I am honored to walk alongside you. My work is grounded in a systemic perspective, meaning I consider the broader contexts—relationships, family dynamics, culture, and life experiences—that shape who you are and how you move through the world.
I hold a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and bring extensive experience working with children, couples, and families across diverse settings, including schools, homes, hospitals, and clinical environments. I’m currently pursuing my second master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at National University, further deepening my commitment to providing holistic, relationship-focused care.
I’m passionate about helping my clients grow and thrive, and I view our work together as a collaborative journey toward greater well-being and resilience.
