Hi, I’m Dominique Jones, LMHCA.

A compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counseling Associate committed to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges with empathy, authenticity, and care. With a strong belief in the healing power of connection, I create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe to explore their experiences, process emotions, and move toward meaningful growth and healing.

My Approach

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral and Community Health from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. My clinical approach is rooted in meeting clients where they are while empowering them to build resilience, self-awareness, and healthier patterns in their lives and relationships.

Drawing from evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a person-centered therapeutic approach, I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, values, and goals. I work collaboratively with clients to foster emotional regulation, self-compassion, effective communication, and lasting change.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing Post-traumatic stress disorder, complex trauma, addiction and substance use concerns, Bipolar disorder, neurodivergence, and the lasting effects of emotional, physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. I am deeply passionate about supporting survivors of trauma and helping clients reclaim their sense of identity, stability, and hope.

Whether supporting someone through anxiety, relationship struggles, trauma recovery, or life transitions, I approach every session with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and genuine care. My goal is to help clients feel seen, heard, and empowered as they work toward healing, balance, and emotional wellness.
